This stunning vintage Asante Kente cloth features vibrant golden yellow, burgundy, and green hues, accented with traditional woven motifs. Handwoven on a horizontal treadle loom, each strip is skillfully joined to create a ceremonial textile that reflects both cultural significance and exceptional craftsmanship.

Considered one of the most labor-intensive textiles in the world, Kente is traditionally worn for important occasions and rites of passage. This piece, in great vintage condition, can be used as wall art, a throw for a sofa or bed, or for upholstery and soft furnishings.
